Welcome to Our Family

We welcome the following new members who have joined Mt. Zion.  We wish them all of the blessings that the Lord offers his faithful followers.

Baptisms 

Mt. Zion will establish an education fund of $50.00 for every baptized child through Mission Investment Fund.  Parents are custodians and this fund can be added to by family and friends for years to come! 

April 7, 2019 – Welcome to Kaylee Nevaeh Yocum-Miller who joined our faith community through the sacrament of baptism. Congratulations to parents Makala Miller and Anthony Yocum, grandmother Jennifer Sullivan, and great-grandparents Dennis and Nancy Miller.  May the Lord protect her and shower her with continued blessings.

April 28, 2019 – Welcome to Carter William Tallman who joined our faith community through the sacrament of baptism.  Congratulation to parents Catherine and Nathan Tallman.  May the Lord protect him and shower him with continued blessings. 

August 18, 2019 – Welcome to Blaire Adeline Grube who joined our faith community through the sacrament of baptism.  Congratulations to parents Angelica and Noah Grube.  May the Lord protect her and shower her with continued blessings. 

September 22, 2019 – Welcome to Brielle Lillian Brocious, daughter of Daniel & Kerri Brocious, who joined our faith community through the sacrament of baptism. May the Lord protect her and shower her with continued blessings. 

First Communions

April 21, 2019 – Congratulations to Haven Fegely, Norah Fegely, Bianca O’Neill and Sydney Schappell who received the sacrament of First Communion on Easter morning.  Special blessings to the parents of these faithful children who by example show the importance of God’s love and their religious education.

Confirmations

June 9, 2019 – Congratulation to the 9 youth who received Confirmation.  These young adults are now taking responsibility for their faith and religious growth.  We proudly acknowledge:

Emilee Barkley, Briahna Batz, Marisa Berger, Kayley Derr, Brady Frederick, Helena Hoffman, Cole Miller, Dominick Pizzelanti

May the Lord bless them and keep them safe from harm and within the arms of their loving faith community.
